Living with EDS: A first-hand primer to living with Ehlers-Danlos
Today's lesson:
Yes, kids, it is entirely possible to kick yourself in the balls.
See, EDS is a condition that affects the ligaments, making them looser. When a particular joint is particularly prone to dislocation, it gets much, much more flexible, to the point where I can move like a yoga instructor.
The problem is, this is completely unexpected and unannounced. I'll find at some point my motion doesn't stop where I expect it to, and so it keeps going.
I think you can see where I'm going with this.
Heel of foot. Groin. Significant bell-toll sound effect. Stunned silence, groan.
Think I'll make a sequence of these whenever they come to mind.
